Who we are: GodSounds, Inc., doing business as Pneuma Breath (“Pneuma Breath,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)

Applies to: Our mobile application Pneuma Breath and any site/app that links to this Policy (collectively, the “Services”).

1) Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you create an account, contact us, or use features in the app.

Account & Contact Information: name, email address, and password.

App Settings/Permissions: your choice to receive push notifications (you can turn these off in your device settings).

Sensitive Data: We do not collect sensitive personal information (e.g., health, biometrics, precise geolocation, race/ethnicity, religious beliefs, sexual orientation).

From Third Parties: We do not collect data from third-party sources.

You must provide true, complete, and accurate information and keep it up to date.

2) How We Use Information

We use your information to:

Create and manage accounts; authenticate logins, maintain functionality.

Communicate with you about the Services (including optional push notifications).

Protect security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

Other uses with your consent, when applicable.

Where applicable, we process personal data when at least one of the following applies:

Consent (you can withdraw at any time).

Legal obligation (e.g., compliance, protecting legal rights).

We do not sell or share your personal information for targeted advertising.

To service providers under contract who help us operate the Services (e.g., cloud hosting, push notification delivery) and must keep it confidential and use it only for us.

5) Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes above, typically for the period your account remains active, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law (e.g., tax, accounting, legal requirements). When no longer needed, we will delete or de-identify data where feasible.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; use of the Services is at your own risk.

7) Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect or market to children under 18. If we learn that we collected personal information from a user under 18, we will deactivate the account and delete the data. If you believe a child under 18 used the Services, contact us at scooby@godsounds.com.

8) Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

Access the data we hold about you.

Correct inaccuracies.

Delete your data.

Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Receive a copy (portability) of certain information.

Appeal a denied request (in certain U.S. states).

Marketing & Notifications

Turn off push notifications in your device settings. If we send email marketing, you can unsubscribe via the email footer; we may still send non-marketing messages (e.g., service, security).

9) U.S. State Disclosures

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia may have additional rights described above. We do not sell or share personal information. We currently do not use personal information for profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Shine the Light (CA): California residents may request information about disclosures for direct marketing in the prior calendar year by contacting us.

10) Do-Not-Track

There is no industry standard for recognizing DNT browser signals, and we do not respond to them at this time.

11) International Transfers

If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand your information may be processed in the U.S., where laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

12) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the “Last updated” date above and, if changes are material, we may provide additional notice. Please review this Policy periodically.
